Position Summary:

Reporting to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager, the Logistics Clerk coordinates shipments and deliveries while supporting the optimal functioning of various aspects within the supply chain. The Logistics Clerk provides their knowledge an expertise on logistical planning to execute clerical supply chain activities.

Responsibilities & Expectations:
  • Receives and processes customer orders, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Coordinates with internal teams to confirm product availability and delivery timelines in the most optimal way possible.
  • Arranges and schedules shipments with carriers and freight forwarders.
  • Builds and maintains positive relationships with carriers, suppliers, and other logistics service providers.
  • Prepares shipping documents, including bills of lading, packing lists, and customs declarations.
  • Maintains accurate records of shipments, receipts, and inventory transactions.
  • Liaises with suppliers, carriers, and internal departments to coordinate logistics activities.
  • Provides timely updates to customers, sales teams, and other stakeholders regarding order status and delivery schedules.
  • Utilizes tracking systems to monitor the movement of shipments in real-time.
  • Proactively identifies and addresses potential delays or disruptions in the supply chain.
  • Promotes a safe work environment and ensures safety risks are mitigated.
  • Collaborates with the others in the Logistics Team to address any supply chain issues.
Desired Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in Logistics and Supply Chain.
  • Knowledge and expertise in Logistics in a warehouse environment.
  • Excellent computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  • Strong organizational skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
