Position Overview:

GoBolt is looking for a Finance Data Analyst to join our team and own Transportation & Carrier cost reporting and pricing. In this role, you will work closely with the Operations, Accounts Receivable and Data teams to analyze transportation and carrier costs, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to optimize expenses. Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and own standardized reporting and analysis on carrier cost data (invoices) to power reporting and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Build reports and dashboards to track key metrics such as costs and credits by region and merchant
• Collaborate with the sales and accounts teamster to optimize carrier selection based on data insights.
• Support the development and refinement of forecasting models to improve cost efficiency.
• Own cost models for pricing of new transportation and postage sales opportunities
• Assist in the billing process for major transportation customers

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field such as Economics, Data Science, Logistics, or Business.
• 1-3 years of experience in finance or data analysis, preferably within transportation or logistics.
• Advanced Excel skills, including complex formulas, pivot tables, and data visualization.
• Experience with SQL, databases and large data tools is a bonus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to present data-driven insights to non-technical stakeholders.
