Lambert Nemec Group, Manitoba's premier specialized recruitment firm, has been engaged by our client, a well-established and growing company. We are currently seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Accounts Payable Administrator to join our client's team.
Job Description:
As an Accounts Payable Administrator, you will play a vital role in supporting the financial operations of the organization. Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing and coding invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments to vendors.
- Reconciling vendor statements and resolving any discrepancies.
- Managing the accounts payable inbox and addressing inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Preparing and processing payment runs, including EFTs, cheques, and wire transfers.
- Assisting with month-end closing activities, including account reconciliations.
- Maintaining accurate and organized records of all accounts payable transactions.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field, or equivalent experience.
- Previous experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, with excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
