Due to a surge in new client acquisitions, this growing firm urgently needs a new leader for its accounting and assurance team. If you have exceptional interpersonal and technical skills, along with significant experience in leading and managing review engagements, this could be the perfect role for you.

Location: On-site, Downtown Calgary

Employment Type: Full-time

Salary: CA$110K/yr - CA$130K/yr

Duties and responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

• Manage a diverse and dynamic portfolio of clients
• Lead and supervise teams to exceed client expectations
• Oversee the progress of engagements and maintain open communication with the team and partners
• Ensure adherence to the firms high standards and quality control procedures
• Develop and nurture strong client relationships
• Engage in staff development and career progression programs
• Participate in committee work and contribute to practice development

Ideal Qualifications:

• CPA designation with extensive experience in public accounting management
• Strong technical skills paired with a creative approach to practical solutions
• Superior analytical, leadership, problem-solving, and professional judgment skills
• Exceptional organizational and communication abilities
• Proven ability to build strong working relationships with partners, clients, and advisors
• High integrity and a commitment to exceptional client service and teamwork
