One of our automotive clients in Collingwood, ON region is looking for a Truck Mechanic for their manfacturing facility.

Shift - Day
Pay - $35 - $40 per hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on heavy-duty trucks and trailers.

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on trucks and trailers.

• Conduct thorough inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards.

• Perform preventive maintenance and suggest improvements to reduce downtime and increase equipment lifespan.

• Troubleshoot and repair engines, transmissions, braking systems, and other major components.

• Complete all maintenance documentation, including work orders and repair logs, accurately and on time.

• Use diagnostic equipment and tools effectively and safely.

• Maintain a clean and organized work area, following safety protocols.

Qualifications:

• 310T Truck & Coach Technician Certification (mandatory).

• Minimum of 3 years of experience working with heavy-duty trucks or in a similar mechanic role.

• Strong knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

• Ability to interpret technical manuals, diagrams, and schematics.

• Proficiency with diagnostic equipment and hand tools.

• Good communication and organizational skills.

• Physical stamina to lift heavy parts and stand for extended periods.
