Position Summary:

The Manager, Project Operations will be responsible for overseeing and managing various aspects of infrastructure projects, including asset management, risk management, quality control, and project/facility operations. This role will report directly to the Group Head, Project Operations Management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:

    • Oversee project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.

    • Monitor project progress and identify potential risks.

    • Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, contractors, and consultants.

  • Contract Administration:

    • Manage contracts and subcontracts.

    • Resolve contract disputes and claims.

    • Ensure compliance with contract terms and conditions.

  • Financial Management:

    • Develop and manage project budgets.

    • Track project costs and expenses.

    • Monitor financial performance and identify cost-saving opportunities.

  • Risk Management:

    • Identify and assess project risks.

    • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.

    • Monitor and control project risks throughout the project lifecycle.

Must Haves:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in infrastructure project management, preferably in P3 infrastructure or large-scale capital projects.

  • Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., PMP).

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Proficiency in project management software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project).

Nice-to-Haves:

  • Professional Engineer (P.Eng.) designation.

  • Facilities Management certifications (e.g., IFMA, FMP).

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
