The Role

Are you an experienced storyteller who envisions yourself in the shoes of your audience?

We're looking for a skilled writer with business savvy and a knack for understanding buyer personas to join our growing marketing team. Your goal is to communicate the value of our solutions to drive awareness and increase customer adoption. To do so, you will first become a product expert and learn about our software inside and out. You'll deeply understand our customer personas and articulate our unique value proposition clearly and effectively. You'll evolve into the subject matter expert on our product, target market, and customers. As an integral part of our team, you will excel at crafting compelling marketing messages that accelerate product usage.

You will do this by: (The Day-to-Day Job)

This role requires you to work cross-functionally with Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Sales. Serving as a key liaison between various departments, your time will be divided up into:

Product Marketing (60%)

  • Working with our Product Owner, you will spearhead product release communication internally and externally. This includes writing emails, publishing in-app messages, creating social media posts, and recording videos.
  • Leverage our business owner-facing eBooks to create multi-channel campaign templates to serve as our newest product offering.
  • Work with Marketing and Customer Success to write value-added marketing messages to increase product awareness and system usage.

Sales & Marketing (40%)

  • Develop content for whitepapers, case studies, landing pages and websites.
  • Collaborate with Sales when required to produce highly targeted, sales automation emails.
  • Collaborate with marketing to write high-converting email campaigns.

Experience & requirements

  • 3+ years working in a content production or product marketing role.
  • Exceptional ability to write concise, captivating and persuasive copy.
  • Experience writing long-form marketing content.
  • High attention to detail with an ability to copy-edit your own work.
  • Excels in a fast-paced environment with tight timelines.

Our Offices: We are a Toronto-based remote company. Your role is expected to be performed from a remote "work from home" setting however travel for important meetings and/or events will be required from time to time.
