Glenlyon Norfolk School (GNS) is an independent day school from JK-12 that is a caring and thriving community. Bus Driver

Casual, on-call

Start: September 2024

Position Overview:

In this role, you will drive a small fleet of GNS vehicles, including the School's 24-passenger bus, safely transporting students to and from various school related events and activities, as well as transport to and from the airport and ferry terminal. You will perform vehicle safety inspections, keep accurate and complete documentation for all vehicle use, and work with appropriate personnel to ensure that school and government regulations are adhered to.

What You'll Bring

You will possess at least a valid unrestricted Class 4 driver's license and clear driver's abstract and have five (5) years of related driving experience working with children and the public. ‪You will have exceptional customer service skills and a positive and friendly interpersonal style to make connections with teachers, volunteers and children of all ages. Successful completion of a criminal background check and vulnerable sector screening is required.
