Career Opportunity

GeoSpectrum Technologies Inc. is growing and has a new opportunity for an experienced Hardware Test Engineer who is passionate about validating cutting-edge sonar systems in a fast-paced environment. We build and test our systems in our Dartmouth factory and get them wet locally and globally, so this position requires in-person work at our facility and may present the opportunity for some field travel.

We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who will lead the planning and execution of testing of end-to-end sonar systems from their submerged acoustic transducers to power and digital control electronics, hydrodynamic towed bodies, and mechanical overboarding systems. The Hardware Test Engineer will work with Systems Engineers and design experts to organize verification / validation activities that demonstrate compliance to system requirements. They will oversee and coordinate execution of the tests by technicians and field engineers. The Test Engineer will be focused on sonar system programs and will have the opportunity to support field activities such as sea trials. This role requires someone who is a critical thinker, proactive problem solver, and comfortable working across technical disciplines.
