Job Description

We are seeking an organized and efficient Maintenance and Facility Coordinator to join our team in Vaughan, Canada. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations and maintenance of our facilities, ensuring a safe and productive work environment for all employees.

  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules for building systems and equipment
  • Coordinate and oversee repairs, renovations, and improvement projects
  • Manage vendor relationships and contracts for facility-related services
  • Monitor and control facility-related expenses within the approved budget
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain up-to-date emergency response procedures
  • Conduct regular facility inspections and address any issues promptly
  • Implement energy-efficient and sustainable practices to optimize facility operations
  • Respond to and resolve facility-related issues and employee requests in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment inventory, and facility documentation
  • Collaborate with other departments to support overall organizational objectives
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Facility Management, Engineering, or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience in facility management or a related field
  • Proficiency in facility management software and preventive maintenance scheduling
  • Strong knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, electrical, and plumbing
  • Excellent project management and vendor management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage budgets and control expenses
  • In-depth understanding of safety regulations and emergency response procedures
  • Experience with energy efficiency and sustainability practices in facility operations
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Certified Facility Manager (CFM) certification preferred
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations in Vaughan, Canada
