About the Opportunity
The Women's Philanthropy team is seeking a Coordinator to provide a variety of project management and administrative support services for the team.
Reporting to the Senior Director, Women's Philanthropy, the Coordinator will support the professionals responsible for the fundraising, engagement and stewardship of donors.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for the Women's Philanthropy team, to include managing schedules/calendars, and dealing with administrative issues and donor inquiries as needed
- Manage volunteer and professional fundraising teams
- Extensive cross-departmental project management and administration
- Provide project coordination for key initiatives in Women's Philanthropy, ensuring projects are tracked and issues are flagged as they arise.
- Provide front-line customer service to colleagues, key stakeholders, donors, lay leaders and community agencies
- Communicate with key stakeholders of the annual campaign, including new and existing donors, volunteers and community agencies
- Utilize Salesforce and computer databases to gather, analyze and maintain data and run reports.
- Work with the marketing department to support and manage all donor and prospect materials
- Event management and coordination (including staffing events)
- Other duties as assigned
Skills and Competencies:
- Post-secondary education in a relevant field of study or equivalent work experience.
- Experience creating systems and general administrative management
- Advanced technical skills to support use of Outlook, Microsoft Office Suite
- Excellent organizational and time management skills – ability to work independently to meet timelines and priorities
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team
- Strong organization skills and communication skills
- Ability to multi-task effectively, handling many responsibilities at the same time
- Excellent computer software skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, Outlook) and an aptitude to learn new software and database programs
- Strong analytical capability with excellent attention to detail
- Enthusiasm, creativity, innovation and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work some nights and/or weekends
- Experience in Salesforce (or another CRM) considered an asset, but not required.
* This is a full-time permanent position, Union Level 2. At UJA we support a flexible work schedule and all of our employees engage in hybrid work.
