Concrete Mixer Drivers – B&B Concrete Ltd. (Saskay Ready Mix)

B&B Contracting Group is currently seeking experienced Concrete Mixer Drivers to join our growing company.

The Concrete Mixer Driver at B&B Concrete Ltd. is responsible for safely and efficiently operating a ready mix truck to deliver concrete to various job sites, while also ensuring the equipment's cleanliness and conducting routine maintenance checks. With a focus on upholding safety standards and effective communication with dispatchers and team members, the role plays a vital part in maintaining smooth transportation logistics and delivering quality service to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Load, drive & operate a ready mix truck through urban areas and designated job sites.
  • Keep the equipment and truck clean and conduct routine maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
  • Efficiently and thoroughly clean the mixer truck, chutes, and drum interior after each concrete delivery to prepare for the next load.
  • Perform pre- and post-trip safety check on equipment daily to ensure safe operation.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other drivers to coordinate transportation and logistics efficiently.
  • Identify and report any issues with the truck or equipment to management promptly.
  • Provide assistance on location as required, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork.
  • Ensure that each truck is parked in the company lot at the end of the day, with a full tank of fuel, DEF, and cleaned thoroughly.
  • Utilize GPS maps effectively and demonstrate strong time management skills.
  • Track and document working hours as required by regulatory bodies.
  • Uphold a safe work environment by strictly adhering to safety policies and work procedures.
  • Adhere to instructions, maintain punctuality, and meet established standards consistently

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of three years' professional driving experience
  • A minimum of three years of experience in ready-mix or related fields.
  • Valid Class 1 or 3 License with clean abstract.
  • Unrestricted or Manual license.
  • Strong work ethic and a positive team-oriented attitude.
  • Effective communication skills with English fluency.
  • Strong attention to detail and a safety-conscious mindset at all times.
  • Possession of own reliable transportation.
