About the Role
Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, this role will be responsible for providing business development leadership, coordination and support including developing new sectors and initiatives, pipeline management, proposal management and marketing functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the company-wide Business Development function to ensure operational execution will meet current and future business metrics including corporate profitability and growth.
- Manage the Pipeline and ensure accurate availability of information to support evaluation of progress towards corporate goals forecasting efforts, and company budgeting.
- Manage company-wide Go/No-Go process for new opportunities to ensure corporate and project risks are identified and appropriately managed consistently with Ensero business plans and risk governance.
- Manage the development of sales proposals, balancing core requirements and consistency.
- Coordinate the efforts of the company to increase the visibility and presence of the company at conferences.
- Work in collaboration with all departments to create and execute marketing, branding, promotional and communication campaigns.
- Continue to improve the consistency and quality of our marketing and promotional materials and update regularly.
- Monitor the performance of the BD function against goals and budgets to ensure business development resources and costs are optimized.
- Develop professional and business relationships across new industries and sectors to better advance Ensero's growth.
- Provide input into Ensero's key business partner strategies. Help evaluate potential partners to ensure they align with Ensero's growth goals and develop key partnerships where appropriate.
- Provide leadership, direction, coaching, and professional development opportunities for direct reports and provide mentorship for Project Development Leads and Client Partners in coordination with the CSO.
- Monitor customer, market, and competitor activity and provide feedback and response.
- Manage special projects that support the broad-based needs of a rapidly expanding Company.
- Other related duties as required.
About You
- Bachelor's degree in Science, Engineering or Business Administration.
- 12 + years of experience in a business development function with previous experience in environmental consulting. Experience in the mining market sector is an asset.
- Experience with the use of Customer Relationships Manaagement (CRM) system setup and routine use.
- Proven track record in business operations, growth, and management.
- Must have demonstrated effective financial management, business development and strategic leadership capabilities.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Represent the company to internal and external clients and stakeholders
