Job Summary:

New World Momentum Inc. is seeking a dedicated and reliable Commercial Cleaner to join our team in Toronto for restaurant cleaning. This is a part-time position, perfect for someone looking for consistent evening work. The cleaner will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in a restaurant environment.

Requirements:

• Previous commercial cleaning experience, especially in a restaurant or food service environment, is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
• Familiarity with cleaning supplies and equipment, including mops, vacuum cleaners, and cleaning chemicals.
• Reliable transportation to the job site (Toronto, ON).
• Physical ability to lift, bend, and perform repetitive tasks as required.
• A good command of English is required for communication and following instructions.
• Reliability and punctuality are essential for this role.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize all areas of the restaurant, including dining areas, kitchen, restrooms, and entryways.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to remove debris and ensure all surfaces are spotless.
• Empty trash bins, replace liners, and ensure waste is disposed of according to guidelines.
• Wipe down tables, chairs, countertops, and high-touch surfaces using approved cleaning products.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, appliances, and countertops.
• Disinfect restrooms, restock supplies, and ensure overall cleanliness and hygiene.
• Check for spills, stains, and grime, and handle them efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper use of cleaning supplies.
• Report any maintenance or repair needs to the supervisor immediately.
