As a Project Manager at P5 Millwork and Design, you will be an essential part of our team and will play a critical role in ensuring the successful execution of all P5 projects. Working closely with all internal and external stakeholders, you will manage projects to be completed on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards. Wage: $65,000 - $85,000 / year depending on experience

Benefits: Medical Dental Vision Benefits after probationary period (3 months)

Schedule: Monday - Friday

Travel: Some site travel is required

What do you need?

  • Experience with wood products, architectural millwork, cabinetry
  • Minimum 2 years of project management experience
  • Ability and experience to simultaneously manage multiple projects at various stages of completion
  • Strong scheduling abilities to monitor project progress and ensure critical milestones are being met
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills to serve clients, architects, GCs, and sub-trades
  • Ability to read architectural drawings and review/create millwork shop drawings
  • Solid understanding of MS Office, AutoCAD, SketchUp
  • Knowledge of Mozaik (CNC Programming) an asset
  • Familiarity with AWMAC is an asset
  • Designation in the Project Management field is considered a strong asset
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs without assistance
  • Have access to a vehicle for travel to work sites; mileage is reimbursed
  • Self-driven and manage their own timeso we dont have to

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive project plans, timelines, and schedules, using Jobman web-based software as a tool to manage these details
  • Ensure all project activities are properly sequenced to meet project milestones and deadlines
  • Collaborate with Shop Operations to discuss project scope, project scheduling
  • Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation plans
  • Program Mozaik for CNC production as needed
  • Monitor project budgets and expenses, making necessary adjustments to stay within budget
  • Enforce quality control and assurance standards throughout the project lifecycle through checking in on shop production and collaborating with shop staff
  • Conduct regular site visits to inspect installation work and ensure it meets design specifications and quality standards
  • Collaborate positively and efficiently with shop supervisors, suppliers, and production teams
  • Manage job sites- taking measurements, supervise install teams, quality control and troubleshoot challenges
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining positive communication with all stakeholders
  • Identify areas for process improvement and collaborate with the rest of the P5 team to implement solutions which will enhance productivity and efficiency
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the P5 team
  • Other duties as assigned
