About the Role
We are seeking disciplined, hardworking individuals to join our Shipping & Receiving team. The successful applicants will be mechanically inclined, have a positive attitude, and be results oriented. Applicants must be able to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
Hours of Operation: Monday to Friday, 8am - 4:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Responsible for the daily duties of pick, pack and shipping of orders, receiving of goods both oversee and domestic
- Loading and unloading of trucks with a forklift
- Ensure all inbound materials are received and accurately recorded in ERP (SysPro)
- Ensure all finished goods are shipped in a timely, cost effective manner
- Responsible to QC checks on inbound foreign shipments
- Responsible for RMA inspections on returns and processing
- Working with the Lead Hand to ensure Health and Safety standards are adhered to
- Ensure all finished goods are shipped in a timely, cost effective manner
- Ensure all warehouse areas are kept clean, organized and free of hazards before, during and after each shift (5S).
Requirements
- Previous shipping/receiving experience required
- Computer literate/previous experience using RF scanners an asset
- Understanding KAIZEN and LEAN methodology improvements
- Hardworking, physically fit, energetic and self-motivated
- Able to lift up to 50 lbs on a regular and repetitive basis
- Forklift/Raymond experience and/or certification required
- Strong attention to detail
- Able to learn and apply new concepts quickly
