Position Title: Heavy Equipment Excavator Operator

Location: Various project sites throughout Alberta

Duration: Until the end of the year

Work Schedule: 12-hour days, 6 days on, 1 day off. Overtime applicable after 8 hours per day or 44 hours per week.

Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Heavy Equipment Excavator Operator specializing in finishing work. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in operating excavators with a focus on precision finishing tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate heavy equipment excavators efficiently and safely.
  • Perform finishing tasks with high precision, ensuring the quality of the work meets the project's specifications.
  • Conduct daily equipment inspections and perform minor maintenance to ensure equipment is in optimal working condition.
  • Follow all safety protocols and site-specific procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Collaborate with site supervisors and other team members to ensure project timelines are met.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5years of experience operating heavy equipment excavators,
  • Proven track record of precision and quality in finishing operations.
  • Strong understanding of excavation and construction processes.
  • Ability to work long hours in various weather conditions.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Commitment to safety and adherence to all safety guidelines and regulations.
