Key Experience Needed:

  • Completion of a Master's Degree OR PhD in Psychology.

  • Any of: EMDR, PE or CPTE certifications

  • Extensive experience treating trauma and conducting formal assessments on adults.

  • Proficiency in trauma psychology treatment programs.

  • Skilled in psychological injury screenings and developing trauma processing and treatment plans.

  • Experience working within a collaborative environment with other disciplines or a willingness to work in such an environment.

  • Active registration with the College of Alberta Psychologists.

  • Experience in an interdisciplinary setting involving the assessment and treatment of a variety of disorders, and experience providing psychological services and treating clients with physical and/or chronic pain is preferred.

  • Research and psychological consultant experience is an asset.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective trauma treatment plans.

  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

  • Mentor and supervise interns as part of our training center initiatives.

  • Deliver psychological services as part of an interdisciplinary team to patients suffering from acute pain, chronic pain, traumatic injuries, and/or brain injuries.

  • Complete psychological assessments and counseling sessions to enhance our clients' way of life.

  • Assist with program development as needed.

  • Participate in monthly SCRUM meetings with other disciplines.

  • Engage in weekly CREW meetings with the psychologist team.
