REGISTERED PRACTICAL NURSE
(REGULAR PART TIME)
POSITION OVERVIEW:
One (1) regular part time Registered Practical Nurse opportunity is available immediately at the Palmerston and District Hospital site of North Wellington Health Care.
This position is unionized with OPSEU.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Current Registration with the Ontario College of Nurses
- BCLS Certification
- Medication Administration Course
- Updated IV course and IV Med Administration
- Excellent communication, organizational and interpersonal skills
- Experience in working collaboratively in a multidisciplinary setting
- Demonstrated lifelong learner
- Team player
- Satisfactory performance and attendance required
- Satisfactory Reference Checks required prior to start date
- Must provide a Police Vulnerable Sector Check
- Must complete a Pre-Employment Health Assessment prior to being hired
HOURS OF WORK:
- Must be available to work all shifts and 2 out of 4 weekends as per collective agreement
- As per Department Schedule
Salary: $35.17 - $36.59 per hour
