Storkcraft is looking for an enthusiastic and sales-driven individual to join our team of omnichannel (retail & e-commerce) professionals focused on building a world-class online customer experience. The Sales Account Manager will engage in meaningful relationships with current clients, prospect new clients, and business opportunities that will aid Storkcraft in gaining market share and maximum profitability.
Responsibilities:
- Account management and strategic insight for key customers: Build and maintain strategic customer relationships. Monitor crucial account management metrics (sales, margin, customer agreements, order status, coop, deductions, chargebacks, post-audit negotiations, etc.); analyze (and action on) product page content and health; perform general account maintenance; ensure proper and realistic forecasting; provide appropriate and realistic sales budgets for critical accounts.
- Work with the team to develop and implement innovative strategies to drive sales and margin increases in each category (product, pricing, promotions).
- Develop annual budget for each account; responsible for accurate SKU level monthly forecasts for each account (communicate any significant shifts mid-month to mgr. & planning team).
- Lead meetings with customers focusing on performance, new items, out of stocks, and marketing plans, including events, site placements, and promotions to drive incremental sales and opportunities.
- Lead the development and presentation of all proposals for Line/Business Reviews for your customers. Define the assortment of products for each account to ensure successful growth.
- Continually look for new customers to add to the Storkcraft customer portfolio
- Analyze offerings for online and in-store customers and recommend optimizing our market share with key accounts.
Qualifications:
- Minimum three years of sales account management experience
- Experience with online retail and merchandising
- Strong business acumen regarding analytical and strategic thinking
- Exceptional communication skills (both written & verbal)
- Demonstratable strong ethical and professional standards
- Experience in the juvenile industry would be valued
- Familiarity with Salsify, Bazaarvoice, Shopify, and Market Place platforms is considered an asset.
