We have an immediate opening for Packers at our Windsor Extrusion Plant.

Job Responsibilities:

• Pack aluminum extrusion profiles into appropriate packaging
• Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging
• Keep working area clear of debris and garbage
• Ensure all actions are done with safety first approach
• Properly use packaging materials, including hand tools, padding, etc.
• Ensure all aluminum scrap bins at saw locations and presses are emptied half an hour before the end of each shift
• Keep complete records of all materials that go through the warehouse
• Stack material without causing damage to the load below it
• Ensure all paperwork is complete and follows the material to the next stage
• Able to perform other duties as assigned

Skills Required:

• Be able to read a tape measure and preferably a vernier
• Be able to read and convert cm to inches
• Clear communication skills written and verbal both to perform the job successfully
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English
• Able to work well with others in a team environment
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn and grow
• Good knowledge and record of safety, quality and productivity around the aluminum extrusion press
• Experience in manufacturing or related field is preferred

Working Hours:

• Ability to work 12 hours continental shift schedule (Day & Night Shifts). Shift rotation every 2 weeks.

Working Conditions:

• Manufacturing plant environment
• Exposure to loud noise
• Exposure to high and low temperatures
• Ability to lift 50lbs
• Ability to stand for long periods

Pay:

• Regular pay: $19.27/hour
