Duties and Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Create Revit drawings from mark-ups or based on instructions from team members for all Mechanical, Electrical and Fire protection departments.
  • Working as part of a collaborative team developing three-dimensional BIM (Building Information Modeling) MEP models.
  • Assisting in creating new Revit families and content where required as well as modifying existing content.
  • Organize and print drawing sets as requested in a timely manner.
  • Review drawings for quality control.
  • Prepare Reference Models.
  • Setup and manage drawing set using appropriate company drawing templates and standards.
  • Assisting Engineers in drawing production.
  • Coordinate drawing production in line with project requirements and in conjunction with other disciplines
  • Incorporate design changes and modifications as directed by the project team.
  • Maintain organized project files and documentation.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Diploma or Technical Training in Revit, AutoCAD, and/or Building design.
  • Strong working knowledge of Revit and AutoCAD.
  • Working knowledge of Navisworks and BIM360 is a strong asset.
  • Experience with reading and coordinating Mechanical, Electrical, Structural and Architectural drawings.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word).
  • Ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in multi-disciplinary teams.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills.
  • Detail oriented.
