DescriptionThe Role
Let's talk about dust. You know, the fine particulate matter that inevitably litters every indoor surface. It's the apex predator of good, clean photographs. We hate dust. Odds are, you do too. Why else would you be looking at a job ad for a Photo Editor?
Flawless product photography is core to everything that we do. Whether it's on our website, in a marketing email, or blasted out to our two million Twitter followers - in all cases: it needs to be perfect. We've spent the last ten years cultivating an online audience that expects and demands perfection from us. We have no choice but to oblige them.
When those hordes of adoring fans see our flawless photography, they have no idea what kind of work goes into it. Device procurement, product design, manufacturing, lighting and shooting the photo itself... right down to the edit, when all of that pesky dust meets an untimely end. Who do you think is responsible for this critical final piece of the puzzle?
If you answered, "that's me," you're probably wrong. We're not looking for just any Photo Editor - we're looking for the best of the best. Think Michael Jordan, but for photo editors. An individual with a keen eye for detail, impeccable photo cleanup abilities, and both the willingness and ability to keep up with the impossibly high standards that dbrand's Creative Team sets for itself.
Still think that's you? Maybe you're that final piece of puzzle, after all.
