VEE Inc. is hiring for an experienced Millwright for our client in Stratford Ontario.

Must work in a safe and efficient manner and comply with Stackpole International's Health & Safety Policies and Procedures and Quality Systems, Procedures and Policies. Must become familiar and work with SPS, 5S and CI activities. Responsible for installing, inspecting, adjusting and repairing equipment while following safety rules and regulations.

Your responsibilities will be to:

• Other duties may be assigned.
• Reading diagrams and schematic drawings to determine work procedures.
• Installing stationary industrial machinery and mechanical equipment according to layout plans using hand and power tools.
• Operating hoisting and lifting device to position machinery and parts during the installation, set up and repair of machinery.
• Inspecting and examining machinery and equipment to detect irregularities and malfunctions.
• Adjusting machinery and repairing or replacing defective parts.
• Operating machine tools, such as lathes and grinders, to fabricate parts required during overhaul, maintenance or set up of machinery.
• Cleaning, lubricating and performing other routine maintenance work on machinery.
• Construction foundations for machinery.
• Assembling machinery and equipment prior to installation using hand and power tools and welding equipment.
• Ensures that the requirements of the Quality Management System and Environmental Health and Safety Systems are met.
• Other duties as required.

Our requirements :

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE Grade 12 or equivalent. Maintenance Mechanic skilled trades license.

QUALIFICATIONS Three to five years experience . A strong background in hydraulics and pneumatics as well as some welding experience.

LANGUAGE SKILLS Proficient in English

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Proficient in Math

REASONING ABILITY Excellent interpersonal skills.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS Millwright License.
