The Compensation Range includes the span between the minimum and maximum base wage. The midpoint of the range is approximately halfway between the minimum and the maximum base salary and can be considered for an employee with full job knowledge, required qualifications and experience for the position.

Position Start date: December 1, 2024

Position End date: One- year term, with a possibility of extension

Organizational Status:
We are currently looking forward to welcoming an International Student Influencer (Malaysia market). You will be part of our fantastic team and report directly to the International Student Advising and Recruitment Manager. You'll be part of a team of experienced and passionate people who believe in a higher education and work hard behind the scenes to help its students thrive in Canada. You will be helping the students to understand the nature, scope, requirement, and purpose of the course.

Job responsibilities:

  • Content Creation: Produce engaging and informative content across various social media platforms (such as Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Twitter, etc.) to highlight student life, academic programs, extracurricular activities, cultural events, and campus facilities.
  • Engagement and Interaction: Actively engage with followers, respond to inquiries, comments, and messages, and foster meaningful interactions with prospective students, current students, alumni, and other stakeholders.
  • Event Coverage: Attend and cover campus events, orientation programs, cultural celebrations, academic seminars, and other relevant activities, sharing real-time updates and insights with your audience.
  • Brand Ambassadorship: Serve as a positive and enthusiastic ambassador for CICCC, embodying its values, mission, and commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion.
  • Recruitment Support: Assist the college's international admissions team by providing insights into the needs and preferences of prospective international students, participating in virtual recruitment events, and offering personalized guidance to applicants.
  • Collaborations: Collaborate with college departments, student organizations, and influencers within the college community to co-create content, promote events, and amplify the college's message.
  • Storytelling: Share authentic stories and experiences about journey of International students at CICCC, including challenges faced, successes achieved, and memorable moments encountered.
  • Perform routine clerical duties to support the office team.
  • Perform other additional administrative duties related to the Student Advising & Recruitment department.
  • Adhering to the procedures and guidelines of the company
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging trends, available merchandise, and new products that the company will offer to clients and customers
  • Pre-screening sales leads and sharing information with a member of the student advising and recruitment team for follow-up.

Supervision ReceivedWorks independently and in collaboration with the International Student Advising and Recruitment Manager. The performance is evaluated for efficiency, effectiveness, achievement of objectives, and quality of work.

Qualifications

  • Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment.
  • Experience in working in an educational institution is preferred.
  • Experience in working in the similar role/field/ or education is highly preferred.
  • Excellent/Good organizational skills, communications skills- oral and written and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
  • Multilingual and able to communicate with ease in minimum three Asian international languages.
  • Understand the educational student recruitment system.
  • Comprehensive understanding of their area of sales, including fast-moving items and consumer goods
  • Ability to stay helpful, polite, and confident, and have the resources to resolve customer issues
  • Comfortable working with other members of the sales team to support their process and goals
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, organize, meet deadlines, be dependable, and stay flexible
