DMG Blockchain Solutions Inc. is looking for a passionate and collaborative Software Engineer to join our software team and help build products both for our own operations and our clients. At DMG, you will solve unique, large scale, highly complex technical problems, bridging the constraints posed by web-scale applications, and blockchain technology. You will play a key role in making Blockchain and Cryptocurrency accessible to non-technical users.

The following are the core product you will be working on, and we have many more exciting projects plane out for 2022-23 and beyond:

• • Mine Manager - An event stream-based solution to manage cryptocurrency mining assets.
  • Blockseer Pool - An audited, clean transaction, Bitcoin pool.
  • Blockseer Data Collection - Scraping the web for cryptocurrency wallet addresses and determining their use.
  • Walletscore - Using our data to score the risk of cryptocurrency wallet addresses
  • Custodial wallet- To hold and transfer digital assets by connecting to and interacting with a particular blockchain network

You will:

• Articulate a long term vision for maintaining and scaling our back end systems and the teams running them.
• Design scalable systems to solve novel problems with modern cloud technology and industry best practices.
• Work with engineers, designers, and senior leadership to turn our product and technical vision into a tangible roadmap every quarter.
• Write high quality, well-tested code to meet the needs of our customers.

Qualifications

You are obsessed with creating software and are familiar with the pace of a company working in a competitive bleeding-edge industry.

You have:

• Enthusiasm to work in Blockchains and Cryptocurrency Domain.
• At least 3+ years of hands-on Software Development experience on large scale distributed systems in JavaScript, GoLang,JAVA,Python or any other object oriented language.
• At least 3+ years of web development experience with modern Javascript frameworks (React preferred), HTML5, CSS/SASS. Experience with GraphQL and Typescript is a plus.
• Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.
• Prior Experience in event driven microservices architecture.
• Experience in SQL and NoSQL database programming, including MongoDB and PostgreSQL.
• Nice to have experience in building transactional systems (preferably in finance/banking), backed by an RDBMS or NoSQL.
  
• A technical leader and team builder who can mentor the team in software development best practices.
• Experience with Agile development, with a focus on shipping customer-facing features on a regular cadence including, scalability and security.
• Have experience with Docker or other Containers.
• Experience with event streams such as Kafka, RabbitMq, Solace or any other Pub Sub.
• Ability to encourage and drive engineering practices.
• Prior experience architecting, building, launching, coding and maintaining complex systems.
• A positive attitude and a passion for imparting knowledge.
• Eagerness to work openly with a diverse team.
• Familiar with Google Cloud and/or AWS.
• Proven ability to optimizing virtual infrastructure.
• Excellent problem-solving skills.
• Detail-orientation throughout the development lifecycle.
