About The Role

Bosa Properties is committed to leveraging technology to drive innovation in building customer-centric solutions. You'll be entrusted with meaningful responsibilities that offer invaluable "real-world" experience. As an Intern, Full Stack Developer you'll get an opportunity to develop technical expertise in software development and quality assurance (QA) to build features, fix bugs, and perform manual testing.

What You'll Do

  • Assist with developing custom enterprise solutions, including web portals with integrations to Salesforce, DocuSign, and other enterprise systems, using technologies such as React, Next.js, Node.js, .NET Core, DynamoDB, and S3;
  • Write, evaluate, and maintain clean, efficient code throughout all phases of the software development lifecycle. Integrating various software components and third-party programs seamlessly.
  • Participate in peer code reviews, actioning on constructive feedback to implement new software features with adherence to best practices.
  • Collaborate with product managers to implement new software features that meet specifications and solve business needs.
  • Coordinate with the QA team to guarantee software quality and reliability.
  • Systematically identify and isolate software bugs by performing meticulous manual testing, then collaborate with the development team to prioritize and address these based on severity.
  • Ensure the effectiveness of bug fixes and verify solutions by reproducing reported issues, maintaining accurate records in issue tracking systems, and improving bug tracking procedures.
  • Execute regression tests on current applications, document test cases, and record outcomes in the tracking system. Enhance workflow efficiency by facilitating communication between the development and QA teams.

What You Bring

  • Currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th year of post-secondary education, majoring in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field;
  • Previous internship experience in software development, quality assurance (QA), SDET, or bug tracking systems (i.e., JIRA);
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, demonstrated through your ability to troubleshoot bugs and implement new features under senior direction;
  • Proven ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams in a development environment;
  • Proficient in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end technologies (e.g., Next.js, React, Vercel, TypeScript, State Management, Tailwind, Storybook, etc.)
  • Experience in web APIs & microservices environments (i.e., Docker containers, .NET Core) that support a high-scale web application in multiple environments.

Our salary ranges and bonus percentages are determined by job family and level. Base salary is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, education and training, years of relevant experience, and internal equity.
