You'll get to help build bridges, develop and maintain trails, help construct playgrounds, staircases, and more. The outdoors is your (sometimes literal) playground!
Cabin Operations Ltd. has built a foundation of experience and dedication to quality and innovative solutions in four main divisions: forestry, environmental operations, recreation solutions and wildfire management. We are currently looking to add a Labourer to our team.
Responsibilities:
As a Labourer you will be responsible for the following:
- Working with hand tools and machinery to build and maintain trails, and infrastructure outdoors
- Complete daily equipment servicing checklists and reporting for deficiencies
- Keep up to date on inventory of tools, lumber supplies, and hardware equipment
What we are looking for:
- A proven commitment to safety
- Experience working on front country and backcountry trails
- 1-3 years experience operating skid steer and mini-ex building parks and trails (preferred)
- Certificate of Qualification to operate heavy equipment is an asset
- Passionate for the outdoors with biking, hiking, climbing, etc.
- Familiar to working long hours in the outdoors
- Easy going and super organized individual
- Adventurous, self-starter with integrity
- Valid BC Drivers License and legally allowed to work in Canada
