Bring your willingness to learn and we will help build your technical skills! Working alongside some great carpenters, machine operators and leaders, you will help build and bring our projects to life. If you got a passion for nature and all things adventure - then you are half way there to understanding what we do. You'll get to help build bridges, develop and maintain trails, help construct playgrounds, staircases, and more. The outdoors is your (sometimes literal) playground!

Cabin Operations Ltd. has built a foundation of experience and dedication to quality and innovative solutions in four main divisions: forestry, environmental operations, recreation solutions and wildfire management. We are currently looking to add a Labourer to our team.

Responsibilities:

As a Labourer you will be responsible for the following:

  • Working with hand tools and machinery to build and maintain trails, and infrastructure outdoors
  • Complete daily equipment servicing checklists and reporting for deficiencies
  • Keep up to date on inventory of tools, lumber supplies, and hardware equipment

What we are looking for:

  • A proven commitment to safety
  • Experience working on front country and backcountry trails
  • 1-3 years experience operating skid steer and mini-ex building parks and trails (preferred)
  • Certificate of Qualification to operate heavy equipment is an asset
  • Passionate for the outdoors with biking, hiking, climbing, etc.
  • Familiar to working long hours in the outdoors
  • Easy going and super organized individual
  • Adventurous, self-starter with integrity
  • Valid BC Drivers License and legally allowed to work in Canada
