We are immediately hiring for an experienced SALES PROFESSIONAL who embodies the ARDEX solution-driven, "customer first" approach, to cultivate new and existing business opportunities with partner distributors, commercial contractors, flooring contractors and installers, specifiers, architects, and other key influencers.

This is a field sales position to cover MANITOBA / SASKATCHEWAN with a home base location of WINNIPEG. Daily territory travel with some overnight.


  • Minimum 5 years outside sales experience and / or minimum 5 years knowledge of building materials industries is required. Knowledge of flooring or tiling installation systems is required.
  • Technical proficiency. Familiar with architectural specifications and construction design elements
  • Sound business acumen, high levels of business integrity, ethics and good professional judgement!
  • High level of energy and enthusiasm for the industry. Solution driven and customer focused.
  • Assertiveness and ability to drive and close sales.
  • Must be able to conduct product presentations and demonstrations confidently and professionally.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and a clean driving record. Must be able to travel daily throughout assigned territory, including some overnight.
  • Able to operate non power and power tools. Good mechanical or hands-on skills to meet the needs of intensive and physically demanding field support and service
  • Able to lift to 70 pounds on occasion, with a carrying capability of 55 pounds.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in Canada, and must be able to travel to the United States (periodically for training)

Education

  • Four (4) year college degree or greater is preferred, or minimum completed high school diploma with relevant industry work experience.
