ADGA is looking for an Information Management Architect/Support to provide the services of a subject matter expert (SME), supporting all IM requirements for our client:

Duties will include:

  • Requirement Analysis. Collaborate with all stakeholders to understand the project IM requirements. (DRMIS, MS Project, DOORS, RDIMS)
  • Information Architecture & Planning. Develop and maintain an IM architecture that enables the LISRM project team and aligns with the overall IM architecture.
  • Data Management and Analytics. Develop strategies for effective data management, including data storage, retrieval, processing, and analytics capabilities. Designing data architectures that support real-time decision-making, situational awareness, and operational intelligence.
  • Governance and Compliance. Establish governance frameworks and policies related to IM. Ensure compliance with DND/CAF regulations, and allied standards as applicable.
  • Project Coordination. Collaborate with the PM, technical SMEs, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and communication throughout the project's definition phase. This includes participating in project meetings, providing advice, reviewing progress, and adjusting plans as necessary to meet project milestones.
Qualifications
  • A valid PSPC Secret level clearance is required.
  • Must be registered with the Controlled Goods Program for this DND contract. Consultants will need to have theirs done, and employees will be processed by our organization.
  • Must have proof of Degree from a recognized university or community college in the sciences or a suitable engineering or technical field required to support Land C4ISR. (Land Command, Control, Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance)
  • Must demonstrate a minimum of 5 years (60 months) on Military Command and Control Communication and Information systems or ISTAR systems.
  • Minimum of 10 years' experience in a minimum of 3 of this assessment criteria below:
    • Client/Server architecture and related technologies.
    • Data architecture definition, framework, and implementation for military systems.
    • System Integration: hardware and software, (COTS and/or custom developed) components into new or existing systems.
    • Database modelling.
    • Aware of current trends and new technologies in information architecture and design.
    • System life-cycle management.
    • Experience in business process improvement and knowledge of business intelligence toolsets.
    • Experience developing or working with architectural concepts, strategies, roadmaps, reference architectures, architectural patterns, frameworks, and principles.
    • Information management strategies and processes in support of change management activities.
    • Database architecture and design.
  • Minimum of 7 years' experience in each of this assessment area's criteria below:
    • Communicating information technology frameworks/strategies to management and technical staff.
    • Communicating system engineering direction for projects or systems with strong visualization skills with the ability to clearly communicate, in writing and orally.
    • Providing advice, guidance, and recommendations on technical issues to support the decision-making of senior management.
    • Leading multidisciplinary teams in the development of IT tactical systems, frameworks, or strategies.
    • Performing strategic, operational, or tactical planning for projects or systems to meet corporate strategy.
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience within the last 7 years in the preparation of technical concept documents, system specifications, and technical proposals in the field of Information Technology / Information management or engineering.
