Shuttle Driver

Pacific Western Charters is currently seeking Shuttle Drivers to join our team in Kelowna. In this role, you will operate a crew vehicle to transport Health Authority workers to and from hospitals.

This is a temporary full-time position lasting for approximately 3 months, with the possibility of turning into a permanent role. This role consists of shift work – two weeks days (7:00 am – 7:00 pm) and two weeks nights (7:00 pm – 7:00 am).

The shift rotation is 4 days on / 3 days off, then 3 days on / 4 days off. Shifts are 12-hour standby (8 hours regular, 4 OT). Hours are guaranteed regardless of the number of calls received.

Position Requirements:

• Valid class 4 driver's license or higher
• Previous commercial driving experience preferred
• Possess excellent customer service and communication skills
• Clean commercial driver's abstract
• Clear criminal record

Position Details:

• Drive crew vehicle (Tahoe) to and from hospitals
• Transport health authority employees and equipment
• Maintain daily trip records
• Follow and maintain maintenance guidelines for pre/post trip records
• Be on-call throughout shift
• Drive and operate vehicle in a safe manner following all procedures
• Working closely with the Health Authority

Wage: $20.00 per hour
