Casey's Creative Kitchens is currently looking to add to our Finish Team within our Production Department.

A key role within our Production team, Finishers are responsible for the preparation for finishing of cabinet pieces by completing the sanding, painting, and staining of all cabinet pieces as they arrive in the Finish department.

Role Responsibilities Include:

  • Preparing cabinet pieces for painting and staining by hand and/or power equipment
  • Assist in the operation of our Makor Paint machine
  • Sand, prime, stain and/or paint cabinetry parts
  • Maintain paint equipment and spray booth as required
  • Touch up finished materials as required to produce an equal tone
  • Perform preventative maintenance tasks as prescribed
  • Ensure that there is consistency across the methods used to complete a task
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all health and safety policies and procedures
  • Foster an atmosphere of teamwork and cooperation throughout the Production Department

Essential Duties:

  • Requires good manual dexterity (hand, hand with arm, two hands) and multi-limb coordination.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull or carry objects, use abdominal and lower back muscles to provide support over time without fatigue
  • Standing for a large portion of the workday
  • Use of Personal Protection Equipment will be required (e.g., safety glasses, respirator, safety boots, ear protection etc.).

Considered Assets:

  • A knowledge and passion for woodworking which is shown throughout the work that is produced
  • Experience working with various materials such as wood, MDF, laminates etc.
  • Experience working in a production facility
  • Willingness to learn new machinery
  • Experience with a custom paint mixing machine

Education: High School Diploma, GED or equivalent. Training in a postsecondary education is preferred but not required.
