Paralegal Job description
Our client is a Vernon based full-service law firm. They are currently seeking a professional and experienced Paralegal to join their Civil Litigation Team.
Your new role
The ideal candidate will have experience in civil litigation court procedure, is highly organized, and able to work efficiently to reach deadlines.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, draft and revise correspondence, litigation documents and other documentation, and assist with preparations for trial, examinations for discovery, and other litigation tasks as required
- Excellent oral and written communication skills with strong knowledge of grammar and exceptional spelling.
- Manage Lawyer's calendar
- Meet with clients and schedule appointments
- Able to prioritize tasks and work within deadlines; and
- Ability to follow instructions, work alone and with the team
What you will need to succeed
To be considered for this position, you must be a licensed paralegal with a minimum of 3 years civil litigation experience. You should be a self starter with superior organizational skills who has a keen attention to detail and proofreading/grammar skills are essential for this role.
