Specific Duties:
Account Management:
- Coordinates all aspects of the sales portfolio in North America for key strategic accounts while supporting end customer needs.
- Strategically manages large complex accounts, grows revenue by identifying and booking cross and upselling opportunities.
- Seeks new revenue within the assigned account and supports market share growth for existing customers.
- Assists in the development and execution of sales and marketing plans for new and existing accounts and markets.
- Communicates effectively with Sales, Engineering, Operations, and Product Marketing teams.
- Responds to inquiries on delivery requests, reschedules, and order pull-ins.
- Prepares and updates monthly, accurate twelve-month rolling forecasts based on customer data regarding product needs and schedules.
- Obtains market and product knowledge to support customer requests for technical product information.
- Builds relationships with purchasing, technical, product management, and senior management groups within existing and new accounts.
- Leads, directs, and executes sales initiatives and strategic account plans.
- Actively participates in a team approach to coordinate all company sales activities with business development, key account management, product management and sales application engineering.
- Attends local trade shows and industry events in support of company sales efforts.
Distribution Channel Management:
- Executes a comprehensive channel management strategy.
- Analyzes market trends and technical requirements to identify new channel opportunities and potential partners.
- Fosters and maintains strong relationships with distributors, system integrators, and other channel partners, ensuring their needs are met and aligned with company objectives.
- Coordinates with the product development and technical teams to ensure channel partners are equipped with up-to-date technical knowledge and training.
- Monitors and manages channel performance, setting targets, and implementing improvements to drive sales and increase market share.
- Provides regular reports on channel performance, market trends, and competitive analysis to senior management.
- Obtains the necessary market and product knowledge to credibly support channel requests for technical product information
- Pursues channel requests for quotes for new and existing products as well as modifications to existing products.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Education in Business, Marketing, or Engineering combined with a minimum of 3 years' experience in a technical sales role, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
- Previous experience selling electrical components or systems to original equipment manufacturing (OEM) customers, or experience managing distribution channels, or experience as a Key Account Manager in an industrial or automotive environment.
- Proven sales & account management experience.
- Excellent customer service, communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong track record of following robust sales processes, documenting and managing key accounts and opportunities in Salesforce.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to travel minimum 25% of the time freely in Canada, USA, Europe and other international destinations as required.

Benefits
On Target Earnings (base salary plus sales incentive): $90,000 - $120,000 per year.
The compensation offered will be determined by experience, qualifications, knowledge, and skills.
