Role : Project Manager
Location : North Gower, ON
Job Overview
The Project Manager is responsible for leading and managing projects from inception to completion,
ensuring successful project delivery within the agreed scope, time, and budget. The project manager
takes the lead on projects, delegating tasks and managing the productivity of the team. They are
responsible for assigning tasks to the right team members, checking on their progress, and ensuring
that each project is completed on time and to the highest standard.
Responsibilities and Duties
Below are responsibilities and duties of the Project Manager, but are not limited to
Develop, implement, and manage project plans, timelines, and budgets from project
inception to completion
Identify and manage project risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies
Establish and maintain relationships with project stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and
team members
Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders and management
Ensure that project deliverables are of high quality and meet stakeholder requirements
Manage project resources, including staff, equipment, and materials
Monitor and control project expenses to ensure that projects are completed within budget
Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices for project
management
Supervise the work of employees and provide feedback and counsel to improve efficiency
and effectiveness
Respond efficiently and effectively to work delays, emergencies, and other project disruptions
Ensure safety standards are maintained and followed
Perform other duties as requested by Business Manager
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience is an asset
3+ years of experience in project management within the construction industry
Any of the following licenses would be an asset: Plumbing License, Gas Licence, Refrigeration
License
Experience using project management software and tools
Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
PMP certification preferred
Budgeting and financial knowledge
Time management skills
