Your Role: As the Marketing Director, you will play a pivotal role in developing and executing strategies that elevate our brand and engage our target audiences. Your creativity and leadership will drive our marketing efforts, ensuring our message resonates and our projects succeed.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute corporate branding, marketing, PR, and communications strategies.
  • Client Engagement: Research, plan, and implement communication and engagement strategies for client projects, programs, events, and campaigns.
  • Content Creation: Produce a wide range of documents including fact sheets, reports, newsletters, presentations, video scripts, web copy, social media content, and news releases.
  • Digital Strategy: Develop and evaluate digital strategies for both company and client projects.
  • Business Development: Create and manage proposals and business development activities.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Oversee research for policy or program development and stakeholder engagement initiatives.
  • Marketing Collateral: Design and develop marketing materials and collateral.
  • Vendor Management: Manage vendors and enable sales strategies, tracking their KPIs.
  • Administrative Support: Perform administrative duties as needed to support marketing and communication activities.

Qualifications:

  • Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Technical Translation: Ability to translate technical information into clear and plain language.
  • Creative Skills: Experience in graphic design, web design, and/or video production.
  • Time Management: Proven ability to meet deadlines, manage multiple tasks, and adapt to change.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Adobe, SharePoint, Canva, and Wix.
  • Public Sector Knowledge: Public sector experience and knowledge of Municipal, Regional, and/or Provincial Government projects is an asset.
  • Digital Marketing: Experience with SEO, CRM software, and KPI tracking and analytics.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical, decision-making, project management, planning, and organizational skills.
  • Leadership: Demonstrated leadership and management skills with a natural ability to build relationships.
  • Emotional Intelligence: High emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills.
  • Work Ethic: Ability to work well under pressure and with minimal supervision.
  • Industry Experience: Marketing experience in construction, manufacturing, architecture, or real estate is an asset.
  • Branding Expertise: Experience in corporate branding, communications, and public relations.
  • Design Eye: A natural eye for design and interest in architecture.
  • Driver's License: A valid BC Driver's License is a strong asset for local travel, though not required.
