Summary:
The Service Manager manages and coordinates the Service and Facility activities. This may include providing direction on multiple projects/jobs, delegation and coordinating efforts. Responsible for the preparation and adjustment of schedules, monitoring costs, and maintaining inventory data. This role assists with the development, training, and mentorship of staff as well as, provides performance management and manpower feedback as needed. Active participation in FET's Health, Safety and Environment program. May handle special projects as assigned.
Job Duties/Responsibilities
- Manages and coordinates service and facility activities.
- Review completed job packages.
- Reviews, analyzes, and prepares reports, as directed.
- Assigns or delegates responsibility for specific work or functional activities and disseminates policies and objectives to supervisors and/or staff.
- Gives work directives, resolves problems, prepares schedules, and sets deadlines to ensure timely completion of work.
- Assists in the evaluation, development and implementation of procedures and practices for accomplishing objectives and performance improvement.
- Ensures adequate training of staff and employee compliance to organization policies and procedures.
- Monitors costs and generates Purchase Order requests.
- Provides feedback on employee performance.
- Assists in the evaluation of manpower needs and recruitment.
- Monitors and archives Service Schedule.
- Actively maintains Spool and Stored Tubing inventory, ensuring accuracy.
- Responsible for implementation and monitoring of preventative maintenance program for identified equipment.
- Must be able to perform all functions of Assistant Service Manager/Service Coordinator.
Skills/Knowledge
- Proficient in safe work practices.
- Knowledge of mathematics including subtraction of fractions and decimals.
- Intermediate computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while achieving deadlines.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- High attention to detail.
- Analytical thinker with problem solving capabilities.
- Capable of wearing required PPE to perform work related activities as necessary.
Education
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience
- 4+ Years of Supervisor/Leadership experience preferred.
- 3-5 years Industry experience preferred.
- Prior experience related to Coil Tubing considered an asset.
