Reporting directly to ownership, the ideal candidate is a seasoned, career focused individual who has a proven track record in leadership, professionalism and with a strong ambition to thrive.

The Role:

• Manage all accounting and payroll operations

• Oversee lead administrators within the individual companies within group

• Prepare and submit dealership financial statements to manufacturers and banks

• Prepare monthly reconciliations for dealership financial statements

• Investigate and complete bank reconciliations

• Generate regular financial reports

• Handle assorted general ledger transactions

• Manage working capital and monthly cash flow requirements

• Oversee the maintenance of employee benefits for dealership staff

• Administer payroll process that aligns with Corporate and Legal best practices

• Process new employees and departures into both dealership and payroll software applications

• Manage employee files

The Qualifications:

• 5+ years' experience in a senior-level accounting role

• Post Secondary degree/diploma in accounting

• Canadian Chartered Professional Accounting (CPA) designation, considered an asset

• Possess a strong understanding of the financial workings of the automotive industry

• Exceptional attention to detail and high level of accuracy

• Excellent organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize and multi-task

• Ability to maintain a high level of discretion and confidentiality

• Ability to self-manage oneself in a fast paced and deadline-oriented role

• Strong written and verbal communication skills
