Position Purpose/Summary:

The Inside Sales is to assist the Sales Team and Managers with preparing proposals, conducting product research and processing approval orders in our ERP system. This position is also responsible with maintaining relationships with suppliers, vendors and manufacturers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work with Sales Team and Management to prepare proposals on specifications provided.
  • Determine products and services to meet client needs.
  • Pricing implementation, generating competitive analyses and strengthening overall margin and lead day-to-day operations as it relates to proposal creation.
  • Providing effective customers by utilizing sales and technical knowledge for the preparation of proposals.
  • Communicate with all departments involved in completing proposals.
  • To provide a central point of contact to engage with supporting departments/suppliers as needed.
  • Research products for solution requests as needed by working with distributors and vendors.
  • Present proposals for review to Tech/Sales Manager.
  • Generate and process Sales order/tickets/project in ERP System for approved proposals.
  • Create, review and approve products that are added into the ERP system.
  • Coordinate with purchasing for client proposals to be ordered and processed.
  • Register deals and vendors/manufactures to increase profit and provide competitive proposals.
  • Manage vendor relationships - renewals, reviewing memberships, completing training, establishing rebates and deal registration.
  • Prices manufacturing rebates and ensuring they are received and processed.
  • Improve level of partnership with manufacturers like Microsoft, Cisco, HP, Dell, etc...
  • Review current process to identify work flow issues.
  • Perform other related task as required.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Detail orientated with excellent time management
  • Knowledge of Networks, systems and server hardware/software (preferable)
