The Opportunity:
The role of Kitchen Prep in our community Points West Living Peace River in Peace River, Alberta is responsible for ensuring a priority with time management and conflict resolution is the focus on providing excellent service for our Residents and Care Partners.
We are seeking candidates interested in:

- Excellent facilitation, problem solving and conflict resolution skills, deal effectively with difficult or crisis situations
- Promoting team building through participation and/or leadership at regular Care Partner meetings
- Committed to Person Directed Care, Eden Alternative Philosophy, and the Domains of Well-Being
- Strives to attain excellence in Resident, family member and employee care partner satisfaction
- Promotes and encourages an atmosphere of excellent hospitality service within the Community
- Providing services in a professional manner that demonstrates the principles of choice, dignity, privacy, independence, and individuality in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values
- Ongoing learning to expand knowledge through attending educational workshops
- Ordering, receiving, and storage of inventory for the operation of the food services area
- Organization of all meals following the menu cycle ensuring excellent quality and taste
- Attaining and maintaining ongoing compliance with appropriate regulatory standards
- Embody: Emergency Management Plan, Infection Control protocol, WHMIS, Health & Safety
- Auditing and collecting ongoing resident/family feedback for quality improvement review
- Maintaining records required by the Community, required auditors, and funders as required
- Attains and maintains ongoing compliance with appropriate local, provincial, and federal regulatory standards
Qualifications:
- Obtain prior to employment, a clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector check
- Food Safe Certificate (an asset)
