What We're Looking For:
  • Experience: Ideally, you have 2+ years in a Freight Brokerage environment. However, we value excellent customer service experience in the transportation sector just as much and are willing to train the right candidate.
  • Expertise: Knowledge of domestic and transborder carriage conditions, pricing rules, and regulations.
  • Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office, with Intermediate to Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
  • Organized: Exceptional multitasking and organizational abilities.
  • Highway Traffic Act: Familiarity with this is a plus.
  • Tech Enthusiast: Experience with Freightlogix or any cloud-based transportation management systems platforms is desirable.
  • Self-motivated: Able to work independently and as part of a team.
What You'll Be Doing:
  • Carrier Communication: Engage with carriers daily to ensure smooth operations.
  • Fleet Optimization: Collaborate with the Fleet team to maximize asset utilization.
  • Relationship Building: Foster strong relationships with both customers and carriers.
  • Rate Quoting: Provide rate quotes to customers as needed.
  • Problem-Solving: Address and resolve service issues proactively.
  • Cost Analysis: Investigate carrier cost discrepancies.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with the Accounts Payable and Billing departments.
  • Coordination: Manage inbound distribution loads with the Operations team.
  • Order Management: Handle order entry and daily tracking.
  • Carrier Sourcing: Continuously seek out new carrier options.
  • Reporting: Update TMS daily and complete On-Time Delivery Reports.

Based upon salary of $50K plus benefits

Training phase in office 5 days per week, following this, will move to hybrid 2 days per week in office.
