We are seeking a dynamic Director of Operations to play a crucial role in enhancing our company's operational performance. This leadership position is responsible for driving organizational planning, optimizing processes, and implementing growth strategies while overseeing project management for new locations. The ideal candidate will provide strategic insights that support business growth and consult on Human Resource initiatives at both group and store levels. Key Responsibilities- Operational Leadership: Develop, implement, and oversee operational processes that align with organizational goals, prioritizing growth and ownership. Ensure visibility into key initiatives and progress.
- Goal Collaboration: Work closely with the Regional Operations Manager to establish goals for store leaders that align with our mission and foster a strong community spirit.
- Performance Review: Conduct regular assessments of operational performance, identifying trends and opportunities for innovation. Implement data-driven improvements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with teams, particularly Customer Experience and Design, to enhance operational workflows and optimize the customer journey across all touchpoints.
- Culture of Innovation: Promote a culture that values operational excellence and empowers team members to contribute ideas and solutions for program success.
- Industry Insight: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to proactively integrate them into operational strategies for improved customer experience and growth.
- Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks, ensuring resilient processes, and develop contingency plans for potential challenges.
- Scaling Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for scaling operations, both within and outside Canada. Oversee project management for new locations and manage partner onboarding and offboarding.
- Budget Management: Collaborate with finance and other departments to develop and manage operational budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation and responsible financial decision-making.
- HR Consultation: Provide guidance on key Human Resource initiatives and strategies at the group level, fostering a culture of growth and development for all team members.
- Team Development: Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing team, ensuring a collaborative, results-driven environment that supports professional growth.
- Succession Planning: Implement and oversee succession planning initiatives for the operations team, emphasizing growth and professionalism.
- HR Support: Assist store teams with Human Resource practices, policies, and programs to maintain a workplace that balances levity and professionalism.
- 3-5 years of experience in Operations Management, Human Resources, and Customer Experience/Design.
- Proven track record in a senior operations role, showcasing successful organizational and strategic planning.
- Expertise in developing and optimizing customer experience workflows, ensuring alignment with operational strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent leadership and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with budgeting and financial principles.
- Experience in scaling operations for a growing organization is a plus.
