TWD is currently seeking 2 positions in Mechanical/Process - Project Engineer to join our team in Edmonton or Calgary, Alberta you will be working at site and remote for this opportunity!

Job Responsibilities:
- Scheduling and cross tracking of multi-discipline engineering and construction projects
- Working with internal groups (such as Operations, Inspection, Engineering, HSE, etc.) on front-end project definition
- Coordinate with internal/external engineer resources, procurement, contractors and site resources to ensure successful completion of projects
- Monitor, manage and control projects to ensure that they are delivered on time, on budget and aligned with clients' requirements
- Contribute to the completion of established engineering project baselines in conjunction with Leads and other engineering personnel
- Provide and/or communicate detailed project reports
- Forecast, monitor and manage potential risks that can negatively impact the successful completion of projects
- Ensure overall engineering project compliance with applicable Codes, standards and regulations
- Act as the first point of contact for clients and other stakeholders
- Perform quality control and quality analysis of the work (costs, schedule, plans and performance management) and report/communicate on a weekly basis to necessary stakeholders
- Generate mechanical and or process deliverables which includes (but not limited to): piping and mechanical layout drawings, line designation tables, data sheets, equipment sizing calculations, engineering work packages, purchase specifications, etc.
- Review RFIs, bids, contracts, and proposals, and respond with a demonstration of sound technical knowledge, and good interpretation of codes and standards.
- Ensure all work and engineered solutions can be implemented safely and will perform in a safe manner
- Apply sound engineering principles and procedures to meet quality and established performance standards
- Execute all engineering activities according to applicable Codes, regulations, laws and standards
- Provide input in the resolution of problems and bottlenecks
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in mechanical / chemical engineering or design.
- Registered professional engineering in Alberta (APEGA).
- 5-10 years project engineering experience in industrial facilities projects with multi-discipline exposure.
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple initiatives/projects simultaneously, and effectively communicate goals, objectives and accomplishments to all levels of the organization
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team to achieve cost effective and timely results
- Experience creating mechanical scopes of work and construction work packages including detailed drawings and specs.
- Shows initiative and drives cost effective and timely results.
- Effective communication skills, and has the ability to work independently and in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Experience in the oil and gas industry is an asset, preferably in an EPCM or Owner/Operator environment.
- Experience creating mechanical scopes of work and construction work packages including detailed drawings and specs.
