If so, this is the role for YOU! Envol is hiring a new Recruitment Intern to join their growing, virtual team for Winter!
As Envol's next Recruitment Intern, you'll work alongside our dynamic team of experienced people leaders and HR professionals. You will learn to deliver impactful and strategic hiring solutions to our clients and organizations across Canada.

Note: This is a full-time internship (4-month or 8-month term) beginning January 2024. This internship is funded through Venture for Canada. Learn more about Ventures for Canada and their eligibility criteria.

YOU'RE EXCITED ABOUT THE ROLE BECAUSE YOU'LL…

  • Act as an internal recruiter for our clients, building and representing their employer brand in the market.
  • Hone your full-cycle recruitment, such as creating captivating job ads, headhunting top talent, conducting virtual interviews, and preparing candidate referrals.
  • Gain hands-on experience and learn the ins-and-outs of recruiting and HR across different industries and roles.
  • Develop the ability to network and build impactful relationships, effective communication, productive time management and work collaboratively within a high-performing team.

  • Are pursuing a post-secondary education, ideally in business, HR, or a related field.
  • Are curious about a career in human resources, culture, people, talent, recruitment or any other synonym for it! This will be a great opportunity to explore whether a role like this is for you!
  • Understand (even through coursework) employment standards, HR principles, and full-cycle recruitment. *This is a MUST.
  • Give a damn about creating impact and delivering experiences that delight.
  • Understand that culture is only as strong as the sum of its parts, and you're all in on contributing positively.
  • Are comfortable using technology. If you have experience with HR and recruitment technology, that's a bonus but definitely not required. We'll teach you all that you need to know!
  • Will be one of the faces of Envol, and have exceptional communication skills and professional maturity.
  • Are radically independent, resourceful, and a driven problem-solver.
