Job SummaryClintar is hiring Tractor/Loader and Sidewalk Tractor Operators for the Winter Season. Join our ice and snow team focused on efficient clearing and de-icing. All roles are on-call, often overnight, and contingent on winter conditions. Candidates must be available on short notice, round the clock. We service commercial, industrial, and institutional properties. Join our team and grow with us! There will be an opportunity at the end of the Winter Season for suitable candidates to be hired permanently to join our team.
There is an opportunity for full time year-round employment with our team. Spring, Summer & Fall responsibility will be running a crew or be part of a crew.
We are actively recruiting for the following positions:
  • Loader Operators (Box pusher)
  • Tractor Operators
  • John Deere Tractor Operators (with wing blade)
Compensation and Bonus:
  • $25 to $32 an hour Heavy Equipment Operators plus a week standby for Winter Season
  • BONUS for referring a friend with perfect attendance at the end of the Winter Season
  • Extra $$ Bonus for working over holidays
Responsibilities & Qualifications:
  • Must be on call and available 24 hours a day 7 days a week, including Christmas & Holidays (Extra $$ Bonus for working over holidays)
  • Respond to emergency calls within 60 minutes of receiving the call especially during heavy snowfalls or severe weather conditions
  • Safely operate equipment on parking lots and paved areas
  • Efficiently move snow to designated areas
  • Maintaining clean sites, ensuring no property damage during snow removal
  • Maintain communication with supervisors or dispatch to report road conditions, progress, and any issues encountered
  • Accurately read site maps and route books
  • Responsible for inputting daily accurate timesheets into your mobile device (LMN)
  • Working smart cellular phone with data
  • Able to work in challenging weather conditions, including cold temperatures, snowstorms to ensure timely snow removal.
  • Arrive for your shift clear-headed and focused, free from drugs, alcohol, or medications that could impair your ability to operate equipment safely
  • Previous experience in operating snow removal equipment and/or tractor/loaders & salters is an asset
  • Must have a valid and clean G class drivers license
  • Follow all health & safety regulations
