Who You Are:

• Experienced with a minimum of 7 years in Civil Earthworks, with at least 3 years in an industrial environment.
• A solid understanding of construction trades, techniques, and safety practices.
• Strong leadership and delegation skills, with the ability to effectively manage and motivate a crew.
• Detail-oriented, maintaining high standards of workmanship and efficiency.
• Capable of interpreting plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Committed to enforcing and adhering to corporate health and safety policies and procedures.
• Possess a valid driver's license.
• Strong time management, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to operate with a continuous improvement mindset, streamlining work processes and providing quality service.
• Working knowledge of MS Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel).

What You Will Do:

• Efficiently lead the daily activities of the crew, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and project specifications.
• Collaborate with the Superintendent and General Foreman to determine the daily work activities.
• Delegate tasks to crew members and ensure the work is performed according to the approved scope.
• Assist in resolving design issues, change requests, and equipment problems.
• Monitor job progress and provide regular updates to the Superintendent.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship and ensure quality control testing is conducted.
• Provide coaching and training to crew members, offering feedback on performance and fostering a safe and productive work environment.
