Roles & Responsibilities

  • Analyze project drawings, conduct material take-offs, and obtain quotes from suppliers while interpreting specification and executing project closeout documents.
  • Create detailed proposals and accurate bid packages.
  • Maintain effective communication and scheduling with vendors, customers, and Titan personnel in the field and sales.
  • Remain current on product knowledge and build relationships with contractors, architects, engineers, and manufactures to secure future leads and projects addressing any issues efficiently.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets, ensuring proper communication to the team.
  • Schedule staff efficiently for all projects and manage installation and delivery dates with customers. Ensuring optimal use of resources to prevent bottlenecks and inefficacies.
  • Travel as needed to support customer and crew relationships and ensure quality and production requirements are met.
  • Coordinate project documents, securing necessary approvals for pricing, change orders, invoices, contracts, and similar documents in a timely manner.
  • Reviewing the project outcomes, including lessons learned and performance analysis, to improve future projects. Preparing and presenting regular progress reports to stakeholders, including any deviations from the plan and corrective actions taken.
  • Review contracts with general contractors and subcontractors.
  • Assemble and issue project closeout documents and final closeout packages.
  • Maintain NetSuite opportunities, and contraction schedule.
  • Training and utilization of internal Estimating, project management and scheduling software's and programs.
  • Self-driven, reliable, and adapt to changing environments and working conditions. Efficient at time management and organization to effectively meet deadlines and address any delays.

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years in estimating or related in heavy civil construction.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess and maintain a valid Class 5 Driver's License.
  • Strong computer skills and experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Project, PowerPoint) and Adobe Pro.
  • Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
  • Willingness to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Ability to manage time effectively.
  • Experience with AutoCAD drafting.
  • Ability to communicate effectively and work well in a team-based environment.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and process driven.
  • Dedicated to the pursuit of continuous improvement.

Other Information

  • This is a full-time position (Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm)
  • This position is open to candidates based near our Leduc, Alberta office.
  • Wage will depend on the qualifications of the candidate.
