Apprentice Plumber

Key Information:

• Must be able to Assist journeyman/journeywoman plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Must be able assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
• Hours: Project dependent; Monday - Friday. Minimum 40 hours per week, with overtime necessary during the busy season (April-October)
• Hourly rate is dependent on experience.

Job Description:

• Must be able to assist journeyman/journeywoman plumbers in the installation, repair, and maintenance of plumbing systems.
• Must be able assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, and fixtures.
• Must be willing to work out of town.
• Communicating with the Foreperson, Operators, and Crew members.

Experience and Certification Requirements:

• 2nd or 3rd year Plumbing Apprenticeship is required.
• Familiarity with hand tools commonly used in plumbing and construction
• Basic mechanical knowledge.
• Must be able to read and understand drawings.
• CSTS-09 or 2020, WHMIS 2015, Ground disturbance 201, fall protection required.
• A successful pre-access drug and Alcohol test may be required depending on the project.
• A reliable means of transportation is required.
• Proficient English language skills required.

Education: 2nd or 3rd year Plumbing Apprenticeship is required.
