Training Coordinator

A.S.P. is looking for a Training Coordinator, who can design, development, implementation, coordination and facilitation of a comprehensive training and development program in support of an ASP Security Service. Work with integrity, respect, and take responsibility of the security and safety.

We are looking for an experienced Trainer to support our security specialist operations as a key contributor to our Commercial and Residential division.
What you will do:
- Facilitating, conducting and/or coordinating the delivery of initial and recurrent employee training through established delivery methods, including classroom training, e-learning and on-the-job training and coaching.
- Participating in the design and development of initial and recurrent training programs/plans and schedules.
- Acting as a subject matter expert on training requirements and delivery, cross - collaborating with the scheduling, operations and the HR team as required to identify training priorities and determine curriculum design, course content and delivery methodology (classroom, CBT, OJT).
- Developing and preparing training/educational aids/materials such as manuals, guidance information, handbooks, etc.
- Coordinating and maintaining the training calendar.
- Monitoring and maintaining training and development performance metrics and designing and applying assessment tools to evaluate training deliverables against objectives/KPI's, to measure training effectiveness and to ensure continuous improvement.
- Maintaining the training database which tracks, reports and records all training sessions and individual employee training schedules, records and reports.
- Participating in the design/development of LMS and in-class training modules and programs.
Who you are:
- Minimum Post-Secondary Certificate, Diploma or Degree in a Training/Educational field or equivalent combination of training, education and work-related experience.
- Minimum 2 years experience in team facilitation, instruction or security training.
- Experience in implementing Differentiated Learning Principles is preferred.
- Experience in working with a Learning Management System is preferred.
- Experience in training concepts, policies and practices, normally acquired through formal academic training and/or relevant years of experience in a training capacity.
- Certified Tricom Use of Force and Step Training instructor mandatory.
- Mental Health First Aid of Ontario Instructor Certification an asset.
- Certified Stay Safe – Resistance Management Systems Instructor is mandatory.
- Certified Standard First Aid CPR/AED ‘C Instructor (preferred).
