Key Responsibilities
- Budget Support: Prepare tools, data, and documentation to facilitate the Manageable Costs Budget Process.
- Financial Impact Analysis: Conduct cost/benefit analysis for business decisions.
- Variance Analysis: Analyze quarterly variance and forecast reports related to management and operational costs.
- Data Management: Maintain the fixed asset database and SAP master data. Handle investment income processes and perform reconciliations.
- Month-End Closing: Assist in the month-end closing process, including the preparation of internal financial statements.
Professional Qualifications & Experience
- Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Business Administration.
- Experience: A minimum of 2-5 years of relevant experience.
- Certification: Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) designation completed, or near final stages of completion.
- Expertise: Demonstrated knowledge of the complete accounting cycle, year-end closing, and external auditor files.
- Strong expertise in reconciliation, including bank reconciliations.
- Language Skills: Effective communication in both French and English (verbal and written), at working proficiency level or above.
- Software Proficiency: Advanced skills in relevant computer programs and office software (e.g., Microsoft Office, SAP or other relevant large ERP systems).
